Position Summary...Working as a Cosmetics Associate at Walmart Canada is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a fast paced retail environment. In this role, you deliver excellent customer service while supporting the smooth flow of merchandise from the backroom to the sales floor. As a trusted partner in loss prevention, you help protect company assets through attention to detail and strong product awareness. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Deliver an Excellent Customer Experience
Greets customers in a polite and friendly manner, assists with product selection, promotes products and services, helps customers locate merchandise, supports purchase decisions, and resolves concerns or refers them to management when appropriate.
Sales Floor Presentation and Merchandising
Maintains strong sales floor standards by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or expired items, setting up and maintaining displays, and ensuring accurate signing and pricing.
Stocking, Modular, and Inventory Execution
Receives and stocks merchandise, completes picks and downstocking as required, applies product protection when necessary, and sets and completes modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
Claims, Returns, and Asset Protection Support
Ensures proper handling of claims and returns, secures merchandise, identifies high-shrink items, and supports loss prevention efforts in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Customer Service and Team Support
Refers appropriate service and transactional requests to the Customer Service Manager as needed and supports Front End and store operations when required.
Cosmetics Expertise and Customer Awareness
Provides customers with awareness that a dedicated Cosmetics Associate is available to offer guidance, product knowledge, and support within the department.
Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule)
Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runssmoothlyand customers receive consistent, high-quality service.
