Job description

Medical Operations Specialist (LPN)

New York Region | Full-Time | Salary Exempt | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Travel Up to 50%

The IMA Group is seeking an experienced Medical Operations Specialist (LPN) to support clinical operations, staff training, compliance, and quality assurance across our New York locations. This position is based out of the IMA office closest to your residence, with travel throughout the region as needed. Occasional Saturday hours may be required. Salary range for this position is $60,000 - $65,000 annually.

Responsibilities

  • Train and onboard medical staff on clinical procedures, workflows, safety protocols, and compliance standards
  • Serve as a clinical resource for policies, procedures, and contract requirements
  • Conduct clinic audits, competency assessments, and quality assurance reviews
  • Support contract compliance, OSHA readiness, and regulatory requirements
  • Troubleshoot clinical workflow, equipment, billing, and operational issues
  • Coordinate equipment inventory, maintenance, inspections, and calibration
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective action plans when needed
  • Assist with new client implementations and operational setup
  • Train staff on PFTs, EKGs, DLCO testing, audiometers, spirometers, vision screening equipment, and occupational health protocols
  • Maintain training records and support audit readiness

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active LPN license in good standing
  • 3–5 years of clinical experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Strong communication, training, and organizational skills

Preferred:

  • Associate Degree or equivalent
  • Occupational health experience
  • Experience with compliance, audits, and staff development
