Posting Operations Associate
We are looking for a Posting Operations Associate to join the Posting Outcomes teams within our RCM division. In this role, the Posting Operations Associate will be responsible for taking ownership of complete processes and smaller projects while coordinating across functions to achieve team objectives. This individual will also work to develop others while contributing to strategic initiatives through analysis and recommendations.
The Posting Operations Associate will also be expected to demonstrate self-awareness by seeking feedback from cross-functional partners and adapts approach based on stakeholder needs. drive results by achieving objectives through coordination and influence across teams, collaborate inclusively by building partnerships across functions to meet shared project objectives and instill trust by gaining confidence through consistent delivery and transparent communication.
The Team: The Posting Outcomes team drives operational performance and quality across all posting workflows through active monitoring, collaboration, and direct intervention. The team manages both core and ancillary posting processes while partnering with BPO vendors and internal stakeholders to optimize performance outcomes and identify integrity opportunities. They also handle complex, offshore-restricted work and resolve escalated service issues to ensure seamless posting operations.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Owns complete processes within assigned workflow areas, ensuring end-to-end quality and performance
  • Manages multiple competing priorities and adapts quickly to changing business needs
  • Resolves complex issues that require coordination across multiple teams or systems
  • Leads small-scale improvement projects from identification through implementation
  • Coordinates with cross-functional partners to gather requirements and implement solutions
  • Analyzes performance data to identify trends and recommend strategic actions
  • Documents and communicates process changes to stakeholders
  • Formally mentors Analyst and Sr. Analyst team members, providing regular feedback and guidance
  • Contributes to training program development and delivers training sessions as needed
  • Supports onboarding of new team members and ensures knowledge transfer
  • Participates in professional development activities and shares learnings with the team

Typical Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Proven project coordination experience with demonstrated results
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across diverse stakeholders
  • Experience with data analysis and process improvement methodologies
  • Subject matter expertise in general RCM Posting processes

Expected Compensation
$50,000 - $86,000
The base salary range shown reflects the full range for this role from minimum to maximum. At athenahealth, base pay depends on multiple factors, including job-related experience, relevant knowledge and skills, how your qualifications compare to others in similar roles, and geographical market rates. Base pay is only one part of our competitive Total Rewards package - depending on role eligibility, we offer both short and long-term incentives by way of an annual discretionary bonus plan, variable compensation plan, and equity plans.
