Trade & Cash Operations Associate | San Francisco Bay Area

A leading investment management firm is seeking a Trade & Cash Operations Associate to support securities transactions, cash movements, settlements, reconciliations, and investment reporting. This role will work closely with the investment team, custodians, brokers, and other internal and external stakeholders.

Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days onsite 
Compensation: $110,000-120,000 + bonus 

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate securities transactions, settlements, reconciliations, and cash movements.
  • Prepare daily cash forecasts and asset allocation reporting.
  • Coordinate internal cash transfers, wires, and investment funding.
  • Monitor investment activity and maintain accurate investment and accounting data.
  • Identify and resolve settlement, cash, and transaction-related issues.
  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses.
  • Research transaction details and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for brokers, custodians, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support process improvement and cross-functional projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with investment operations, securities settlement, and cash management.
  • Exposure to public and private investments.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with securities, derivatives, and other complex financial instruments.
  • Financial modeling or business intelligence experience preferred.
  • Bloomberg experience is a plus.
