CLUB Retail Operations Analyst I
Position Summary
The Retail Operations Analyst I supports the execution of corporate programs that drive operational excellence and employee engagement for the CLUB program across all U.S. Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's retail locations. This role partners with corporate stakeholders and field leadership to support projects of varying scope and complexity. The position plays a key role in process oversight, performance tracking, communication execution, and operational alignment while receiving leadership guidance and strategic direction.
Essential Functions
  • Support retail operational and communication strategies focused on CLUB acquisition, retention, and customer experience performance. Track, analyze, and report on key business metrics to evaluate effectiveness and communicate results to stakeholders.
  • Utilize data analysis, visual presentation tools, and storytelling techniques to communicate insights effectively, identify operational trends and opportunities, and propose actionable solutions that support business objectives and enhance the overall customer and employee experience.
  • Execute and support internal communication initiatives tied to retail operations and marketing strategies. Maintain scorekeeping processes using key performance indicators (KPIs), evaluate results, and identify opportunities for process and communication improvements through innovative thinking.
  • Assist in managing small- to medium-sized projects in partnership with CLUB Retail Operations leadership, including monitoring project timelines and expenses to ensure alignment with budget expectations. Develop and distribute communications to retail end users.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners through consistent communication and collaboration. Coordinate and support training initiatives while ensuring stakeholders remain informed on project updates and operational priorities.
  • Ensure all projects and operational processes align with company policies, procedures, and organizational standards. Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Associates Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Project Management, Training/Learning and Development or a related field
  • Preferred Degree: Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Analytics, Project Management, Training/Learning and Development or a related field
  • Experience: 2-4 years

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
  • Analysis and project management experience preferred
  • Effective communication (written and verbal)
  • Self-starter: demonstrates personal initiative and willingly assumes responsibility and ownership
  • Apply critical thinking behaviors and principles to projects and workload

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Up to 10% for training, partner collaboration, etc.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Regular computer work, and sitting
  • Occasional walking, standing, and lifting up to 50lbs

  • Performs duties within scope of general company policies, procedures, and objectives. Analyzes problems and performs needs assessments. Uses judgment in adapting broad guidelines to achieve desired result. Regular exercise of independent judgment within accepted practices.
