We are looking to add a Medical Assistant to our Baptist Heart Specialists office located in Jacksonville Beach, FL. This is a Full-Time opportunity working Monday through Friday from 8:00AM-5:00PM.

The experienced candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients and administering EKGs. Must be a team player.

Medical Assistant Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides medical assistance to physician

  • Obtains vital signs

  • Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit

  • Maintains medical documentation

  • Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician

  • Processes prescription requests and referrals

Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED Required

  • Associate of Arts/Science Preferred

Education & Credential Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED Required

  • Associate of Arts/Science Preferred

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

  • Certified Medical Assistant Preferred
