Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the Chemistry/Biochemistry department on the Blue Ridge campus. We are looking for a student worker who can help us manage lab equipment and assist with setup and cleanup for lab experiments.
Responsibilities
  • The student lab assistant will be responsible for helping unpack and stock lab equipment, set up equipment for experiments, and assist with clean up after experiments.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • The student should be motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • The student should be able to lift, break down, and dispose of boxes.
  • The student should have careful attention to detail that is required when setting up materials for a lab experiment.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
