Job description

Description
The Graduate Teaching Assistant will support the undergraduate and graduate education programs in the Department of Biochemistry by:
1. Grading course exams and homework assignments
2. Holding office hours for students with grading questions
3. Assisting faculty instructors with course exam proctoring
4. Assisting faculty instructors with course grade calculations
Applicants must complete the required graduate teaching assistant training course (UNIV 400) before starting the position. Preference is given to applicants who have completed some Biochemistry courses at the graduate level, especially BIOC 407 and/or BIOC 408. Hourly rate for this position is $16.50.
