In this full-time position, you will be responsible for fostering mental well-being by conducting thorough mental health evaluations, devising effective treatment plans, and leading both individual and group therapy sessions. In this role, you will work remotely, participating in collaborative video consultations with clients and multidisciplinary teams. Our telehealth environment allows flexibility while maintaining the highest standards of care. You'll have the opportunity to work with advanced electronic health record systems, including AVATAR, to document client interactions efficiently, ensuring organized management of treatment plans and progress notes.

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews with clients, ensuring meticulous documentation from initial consultations to the conclusion of treatment.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations of mental, emotional, and behavioral health to assess each client's specific needs.
• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Facilitate weekly individual and group therapy sessions to provide ongoing support and motivation.
• Regularly monitor and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and feedback, ensuring effective pathways to recovery.
• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to implement cohesive and effective intervention strategies.
• Follow up with medical staff for clients who require hospitalization, ensuring a smooth continuation of care during transitions.
• Identify and address any behaviors or issues that may impede recovery, utilizing evidence-based strategies and compassionate guidance.
• Assist family members in understanding and managing their loved ones' mental health challenges, providing necessary education and resources.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse population encompassing various ages, backgrounds, and mental health conditions. Our clients often face challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your role is crucial in creating a safe, supportive environment that encourages clients to open up and engage in their recovery journey.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LCSW, LMFT, or LCMHC).
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey assessments and treatment options to clients.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards clients' situations.

• Previous experience as a mental health counselor, particularly within a telehealth setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, especially AVATAR, to streamline documentation and care coordination.
• Experience working with clients facing physical health and emotional challenges, including addiction disorders.
• Knowledge of best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• In-depth understanding of the side effects and interactions of medications prescribed by medical professionals.
