Associate, Concierge Marketing Design

We are seeking a Marketing Designer to join our growing Concierge design team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Design team to bring the Velocity Black lifestyle to life through the Velocity Black app, social channels and paid media. The candidate will primarily be responsible for researching, selecting, and designing assets. They will also collaborate with members from the internal content team to launch weekly email newsletters. They will also be expected to work across ad-hoc jobs such as internal presentations.

  • Design assets to meet the company's high standards using Figma and Adobe Suite.
  • Research, select, and re-touch high-quality visual assets to accompany content ideas for the VB mobile app and social media.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure visual assets reflect the company's aesthetic and storytelling.
  • Assist with tactical tasks such as creating presentation decks and PDFs.
  • Create newsletters as needed; knowledge of MailChimp is preferred.
  • Experience commissioning third-party photographers or illustrators a bonus but not required.

In this role, the designer must be adaptable and possess excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively collaborate with the team and deliver high-quality work in a timely manner. Overall, the designer will play a vital role in creating visually appealing and impactful design assets for various platforms.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 2 years of experience working with Figma, Adobe, Office, and Google Suite products

  • 3+ years of experience in planning, executing and analyzing marketing programs

Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $81,700 - $93,300 for Associate, Marketing

New York, NY: $89,200 - $101,700 for Associate, Marketing

Richmond, VA: $74,200 - $84,700 for Associate, Marketing

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidateโ€™s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
