Come help lead softlines strategy within Owala's core business—the fastest growing hydration brand in the country. As a Brand Marketing Associate, you will help drive the strategy for softlines within Owala's core product line (bags and related accessories), partnering with experts across the 4Ps to assess, evaluate, and execute strategies that build sustainable growth within this segment. This role sits on our brand management career track, offering a path toward broader brand leadership as you build category expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create purpose-driven brand strategies for the softlines segment of core that drive significant and sustainable growth
  • Lead strategy execution of brand building, innovation, and business model ideas within softlines to hit financial and volume targets in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with experts across the 4Ps to assess and evaluate solutions, orchestrate the annual plan for softlines, and ensure execution across the 4Ps is consistent with brand foundation and the broader core business
  • Understand the softlines consumer within the core business and work with data to unlock key business insights for product innovation and marketing messaging
  • Oversee demand planning for softlines, forecasting by applying business insights specific to the segment
  • Lead commercialization of product initiatives within softlines that deliver the annual brand plan
  • Partner with Sales to create compelling softlines-specific stories to profitably win with key customers

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience in Brand Marketing, Product/Category Management, Finance, Sales, Consulting, a leadership development program, or another relevant business function; strong internship experience may also be considered
  • Demonstrated track record of driving measurable results, with the ability to clearly articulate your individual contribution and impact
  • Strong analytical ability to translate data into meaningful business insights and action
  • Working understanding of the 4Ps of marketing (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) and how they can be used to achieve brand and business objectives
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including an understanding of how business decisions can impact topline and bottom-line performance
  • Ability to think strategically, generate creative solutions, and balance short-term business needs with long-term brand health
  • Ability to independently own and drive initiatives from strategy through execution, manage multiple priorities, and achieve results in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter who can operate effectively with ambiguity and limited supervision
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience in CPG, consumer products, softlines, apparel, accessories, retail, or another consumer-facing busines
  • Strong analytic ability to translate data into meaningful insights and action within softlines
  • Ability to strategically choose levers to balance short-term commitments and long-term brand health for the softlines segment
  • Understand P&L mechanics and how to impact topline and bottom-line drivers within softlines
  • Ability to identify and evaluate brand building ideas across the 4Ps and make connections across other segments and brands in the portfolio
  • Ability to determine how to use the 4Ps to achieve brand strategy and goals for softlines
  • Demonstrate comfort and capability with softlines businesses at all stages of growth
  • Ability to influence and inspire direct and cross-functional teams supporting softlines
