**Job Posting Title**Senior Manufacturing Engineer**Job Description Summary**Dauch is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at our Bowling Green Manufacturing Facility. This position will be based out of our Bowling Green, OH location.The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining optimal manufacturing processes and systems to ensure efficient production, high quality, and continuous improvement.**Job Description:*** Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment, and layouts for new and existing products.* Conduct time studies, process capability studies, and value stream mapping to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.* Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process control plans.* Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new products and provide input on design for manufacturing (DFM) principles.* Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.* Manage capital equipment projects, including specification, procurement, installation, and commissioning.* Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, SMED) to drive operational excellence.* Work with quality assurance to establish and monitor quality control parameters and ensure product compliance.* Provide technical support and training to production personnel.* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional teams.* Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations.* All other duties as assigned.**Required Skills and Education*** Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.* 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role (automotive preferred).* Strong understanding of lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement tools.* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for design and analysis of manufacturing processes and tooling.**About Dauch:**Dauch Corporation is a premier Driveline and Metal Forming supplier serving the global automotive industry with a powertrain-agnostic product portfolio that supports electric, hybrid, and internal combustion vehicles.
