Job description

Multi-State Law Firm has an opening, in our Las Vegas office, for an Associate Attorney to work in our Consumer Collections Litigation Group.  The ideal Candidate will have 1-2 years of Civil Litigation experience, however, we welcome newly admitted Attorneys.  We are willing to train for this position.


What We Do: 

We represent entities to recover unpaid debts from individuals (consumers) whether they are credit card balances, mortgages, medical bills, auto loans, etc.


This new Associate will be working with a Senior Attorney in the firm. There is also a support staff for the Attorneys.


Qualifications:

·         Licensed to practice law in Nevada

·         Previous work experience in Civil Litigation preferred

·         Prefer experience in Consumer Collections, but will train

·         Ability to handle your own case load and work independently

·         Excellent written and oral communication skills


Job Duties:

·         Managing a docket of litigation files

·         Drafting motions, pleadings, memorandums, discovery, etc.

·         Conducting research

·         Preparing and attending depositions, hearings, etc.

·         Communication with clients, courts, and opposing parties
