Job Summary:
SOCOTEC US is a provider of niche consulting services within the architecture, engineering and construction industries. The Associate IT position is responsible for managing workstation and end user issues, including the installation of applications/software and the setup/movement of hardware.
Responsibilities:
• Communicate with SOCOTEC US staff to resolve technical issues.
• Assist with Intune Endpoint Deployment for Windows, iOS, and Android Devices
• Work closely with SOCOTEC US staff to ensure they have all the tools they need to access data and technical resources in completing projects.
• Deal with a Help Desk ticket system - escalating, assisting, and closing tickets as needed.
• Attend weekly Help Desk meetings
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows, Networking, and end user support.
• Working experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Networking, and Virtualization
• Basic understanding of hybrid cloud services (Azure, AWS, VMware)
• Critical Thinking: Expressing thoughts and opinions in the conception and development of tasks.
• Development: Willingness to learn, and ability to mentor.
• Teamwork: Enjoys and excels at working cooperatively with the team
