Ascent Lifting is seeking an IT Analyst I to join our growing internal IT team. This is a hands-on role supporting end users and infrastructure across our 40+ branch locations. You'll work closely with the IT Director and fellow analysts to keep our systems running smoothly while gaining exposure to a broad enterprise environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide Tier 1/2 helpdesk support via our HaloITSM ticketing system, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner
  • Support and maintain SonicWall firewall appliances, including rule management, SDWAN, VPN configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Assist with LAN/WAN networking tasks including switch configuration, VLAN management, and branch connectivity (fiber + 4G/5G failover)
  • Support endpoint management using NinjaOne RMM
  • Assist with Microsoft 365 administration (user provisioning, licensing, Exchange, Teams)
  • Support desktop deployments and refresh cycles
  • Contribute to IT documentation in Hudu
  • Assist with monitoring and response for SentinelOne endpoint security alerts
  • Support Citrix virtual desktop environment and VoIP (3CX/Yealink) as needed
  • Participate in after-hours maintenance windows and on-call rotation as required


REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-3 years of experience in a helpdesk, desktop support, or IT analyst role
  • Hands-on experience with SonicWall firewalls (VPN, NAT, firewall rules, diagnostics)
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing)
  • Experience supporting Windows 11 endpoints in a domain environment
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal


NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with NinjaOne, HaloITSM, or similar RMM/PSA tools
  • Familiarity with Citrix, VMware, or Azure
  • SonicWall certification (SNSA or SNSP) a plus
  • CompTIA Network+, Security+, or similar certification
  • Experience supporting multi-site or distributed environments
