Operations Analyst, Associate

Location:

CA - Westlake Village

What you'll do:

As an Operations Analyst, Associate you'll be responsible for researching, collecting, and analyzing data for ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. You'll collaborate with the line-of-business and technology teams (Operations Team, Business Intelligence, external vendors' technology teams). Your primary responsibilities include gathering requirements from the line of business, documenting the requirements, and converting those requirements into technological requirements for our engineering teams. Once requirements are built by engineering, you'll conduct UAT testing when needed. You'll evaluate any new potential vendors the line(s) of business wants to onboard. In addition to requirement gathering, Business Analysts will diagnose, troubleshoot and solve any system-based issues with assistance from internal technology teams.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with external vendors, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, and business units.
  • Develop business requirement documents (BRDs) for technical teams as well as request for proposal (RFP) documents for potential suppliers.
  • Manage and perform user acceptance testing with software upgrades and version releases.
  • Provide end-user support, monitor systems, respond to inquiries, resolve and escalate reported incidents within established SLAs.
  • Managing multiple ticketing queues involving internal and external stakeholders.
  • Quarterly Audit completion for various lines of business.

What you'll need:

  • 2+ years of related experience or similar field.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Entry level to intermediate knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending; including sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
  • Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite or products or similar products.
  • Entry level experience using SQL.
  • Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
Compensation: Hourly range for new hires is generally $30.99 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
