Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and insurance quoting systems is important, as is ongoing education through industry certifications such as those offered by The Institutes. Outstanding interpersonal skills, active listening, and persuasive communication help agents build trust and rapport with clients. These skills and qualifications are critical for meeting client needs, achieving sales goals, and ensuring compliance in a highly regulated industry.
