Job description

Sesame Flyers International values engaging instructors with a holistic approach to life-long learning. Our instructors are expected to be creative, adaptable, resilient, understanding, and compassionate. If you are passionate about instructing children and helping them through all aspects of learning and development, we are looking for you! 


Duties: 

  • Responsible for design and lesson planning of academic skills curriculum following program guidelines and material resources.
  • Responsible for providing direct instruction to participants in a classroom setting.
  • Responsible for maintaining attendance records for each class.
  • Responsible for setting and implementing pre and post-testing.
  • Responsible for administering appropriate records for each class.
  • Responsible for coordinating with Assistant Director- Program Supervisor for class trips and special events.


Preferred Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree and two years paid experience as a certified teacher.
  • Knowledge of CPR and First Aid.
  • Ability to design and implement course curriculum.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to pass all required background checks.
