Job description


SUNY Broome Community College invites applications for qualified candidates to teach as part-time Clinical Instructors within the Dental Hygiene Department.
Clinical Instructors will teach in the on-campus clinic. Opportunities vary by semester.
The Dental Hygiene department is establishing a pool of applicants to fill potential part-time clinical instructor positions. Applications are accepted and reviewed on an ongoing basis.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene from a CODA accredited program; Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene or a related field preferred.
  • Active New York State Dental Hygiene License.
  • New York State Dental Hygiene Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide Analgesia Certification preferred.
  • Dental Hygiene Clinical experience. Teaching experience preferred.
  • Current CPR certification by New York State approved provider.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship.

Additional Information:
The hourly rate for this position is $37.72.
Offers of employment will be conditional based upon the results of a satisfactory, required pre-employment Standard Background Check.
