Job Title:- Site Reliability Engineer

Location:- Pennington, New Jersey

Duration:- 6+ months

Note:

Please focus on candidates with strong hands-on SRE/DevOps experience, including Python, Django/REST APIs, Linux, MySQL, Ansible, CI/CD, AWS/Azure, and monitoring/observability. Financial Services/Banking or Trading Platform experience is highly preferred.

Job Descriptions:

The team owns the reliability and operational health of the Quartz platform. We actively monitor and support core infrastructure and components, execute automation initiatives, build and enhance internal tools, resolve infrastructure issues, and lead incident response to keep the platform running at scale. We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) who will operate hands-on across the stack to improve platform and application observability, drive reliability improvements, and deliver measurable gains in operational efficiency across Global Markets. This role will work closely with Quartz core teams to execute on platform modernization, Quartz migration to Cloud (Cloud 1.0, 2.0), harden production systems, and evolve support tooling. This position is critical to maintaining execution velocity, reducing operational risk, and ensuring Quartz continues to meet its reliability and performance objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

Strong Python development experience

Hands-on Django and REST API development

Strong MySQL/database skills

Deep Linux administration and troubleshooting experience

Infrastructure engineering and automation background

Experience with Ansible and CI/CD pipelines

Observability and monitoring experience (Dynatrace preferred)

Experience working in large-scale production environments

Azure and/or AWS cloud experience

SRE, Reliability Engineering, and DevOps practices

Open Telemetry and modern observability tools

Infrastructure-as-Code and automation frameworks

Financial Services / Trading Platform experience
