Cincinnati Re, a division of The Cincinnati Insurance Company, is currently seeking a Reinsurance Operations Analyst to contribute to the development and implementation of organizational effectiveness by helping us identify the best strategies, policies and practices; interact with associates in Catastrophe Modeling, Underwriting, Claims and Accounting.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00 hourly. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus based on company and individual performance. 

Be ready to:

  • enter technical data into our submission tracking, customer relationship management and reinsurance administration systems
  • coordinate with associates in the department to ensure timely information flow and compliance with internal guidelines
  • produce financial and operation reports
  • provide assistance with preparation of presentations
  • work with our reinsurance brokers to ensure timely flow of documents
  • assist in the review of contract change requests
  • assist underwriters with travel arrangements and expense processing
  • handle special projects and assignments as directed
  • assist with annual planning process
  • plan meetings and take notes for team follow up
  • assist with key industry events and scheduling 

Be equipped with:

  • strong analytical skills
  • proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • strong verbal and written communication skills to explain, persuade and present information
  • ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • strong interpersonal communication skills, with an emphasis in excellent customer service
  • strong attention to detail
  • self-directed and productive with light supervision while recognizing when to ask for assistance
  • creative, independent thinking and problem-solving skills
  • ability and willingness to collaborate with others which includes being flexible and open to change

Bring education or experience from:

  • a college degree preferred, but not required
  • prior experience in insurance or reinsurance company underwriting, claims, pricing, or finance operation helpful but not required
