This is a temporary salaried opportunity to join Deloitte Services LP for a short-term assignment. We are currently seeking a candidate to fill our Specialist Manager, Analytics & Insights role between August 2026 - May 2027 for our People Analytics team.

Work you'll do

  • Own Tableau dashboard development end-to-end - from managing collaboration with multiple stakeholders to define user stories and scope requirements through design, build, testing, and iteration - applying UX and data visualization best practices throughout
  • Create strategic data visualizations that tell a story as well as operational dashboards (i.e., in support of executive presentations, summary of analytics projects, or as standalone dashboards) using Tableau, PowerPoint, and other tools
  • Advise Talent leaders on key opportunities discovered by data and bring data into the discussion
  • Develop broad expertise in Talent data and reporting to understand the full landscape of Talent data systems and integrations
  • Using existing infrastructure, define standards and guidelines for data flow and dashboard design
  • Ability to balance detail (e.g., tracking nuanced client needs) with thinking strategically and holistically about underlying goals/needs
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a broad set of clients
  • Manage one dedicated junior resource, including their work deliverables, and collaborate with various other team members across Client & Reporting Solutions

The Team

The People Analytics Team collaborates across Talent and the business to uncover data-driven insights to solve business challenges across the talent lifecycle and enable transformational change inside of Deloitte. Our teams (e.g., reporting, data science, surveys, candidate assessments, evaluation) provide a holistic and client-centric approach that complements our wide range of analytical tools and methods to identify valuable workforce insights which, in turn, fuels the business. 

This role manages dashboard design and data visualization projects in People Analytics, translating complex talent data into intuitive, decision-ready dashboards for senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings advanced Tableau expertise alongside interpersonal skills to drive requirements conversations and the design sensibility to turn raw data into compelling visual narratives.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years relevant experience in project management, reporting, analytics, visualization
  • Advanced Tableau expertise (critical): proficient in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Cloud, and Tableau Prep, including expertise in proficiency in calculated fields, LOD expressions, parameters, dashboard actions, performance optimization, publishing, and permissions management
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business questions into structured dashboard requirements, including soliciting and developing user stories and requirements, creating wireframes or mockups, and managing stakeholder sign-off
  • Experience applying UX and data visualization principles to drive dashboard usability and adoption
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office skills and ability to produce high-quality deliverables:
    • In Excel, aggregate and analyze operational data to identify insights and trends
    • In PowerPoint, tell a logically structured, succinct, and compelling story tailored to your audience; identify clear and actionable asks
    • In Word, create clear, concise, professional communications and resources
    • In Teams, effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders to maximize efficiency and version control
  • Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
