Job description

Tricoci is an innovative, high-end provider of salon and spa services and a fast-growing haircare brand that delivers in-salon results at home. Established in 1977 by legendary stylist Mario Tricoci, the Tricoci brand started with a simple vision to help people look and feel their best.
The Data & Analytics Manager is responsible for turning our newly built data warehouse into the dashboards, reporting, and analytics that run the business. In this role, you will partner closely with FP&A on financial reporting and the close cycle, and serve as the trusted analytics partner for Operations, Marketing, Retail, CPG, and Med Spa leaders. The role touches all aspects of the business and is highly visible to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reporting across finance, retail, CPG, marketing, operations, and med spa.
  • Own the Power BI environment - semantic models, datasets, governance, and refresh health.
  • Partner with FP&A on monthly reporting, close-cycle variance analytics, budget reporting, and MBR/QBR data.
  • Build customer and marketing analytics - CAC, LTV, cohort, retention, and campaign post-mortems.
  • Build operating analytics - utilization, technician performance, salon menu, retention, and Operations Review reporting.
  • Stand up CPG reporting across brands and channels (DTC, retail, marketplace).
  • Write and optimize SQL against the data warehouse; partner with the data team on data quality and pipeline issues.
  • Lead migration of legacy direct-database and file-based reports onto the new warehouse; consolidate duplicate models.
  • Define KPI standards and metric definitions in partnership with finance and business stakeholders.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to answer specific business questions and support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of progressive BI and analytics experience, with hands-on ownership of a Power BI (or comparable) environment. Multi-unit retail, services, hospitality, or consumer industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Expert-level Power BI - semantic model design, DAX, dataflows, gateways, and workspace governance.
  • Fluent SQL - you can write, optimize, and debug complex queries independently against a modern warehouse.
  • Hands-on experience building customer analytics from first principles (CAC, LTV, cohort, retention).
  • Proven partner to FP&A or finance teams - you understand close cycles, budget vs actuals, and how financial reporting needs to tie.
  • Experience cleaning up and governing a fragmented BI environment.
  • Expert Excel - Power Pivot, Power Query, scenario modeling.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; able to present confidently to executives.
  • Experience with NetSuite or Workday Adaptive Planning a plus.
  • Familiarity with Python, R, or modern data-stack tools a plus.
