ABOUT THE ROLE:

TheInvestment Banking Associate Iperforms a wide range of complex analytical and high-level support functions. With limited supervision, apply analytical skills to provide consistent data and reporting support forCorporate & Investment Bankingteams and deal teams.Produce high quality analysis and presentation materials. Provide management and oversight of Analystpoolto ensure the production of ahigh qualitywork product.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities for this role are below; you may support projects of varying complexity based on skill and organizational priorities.

  • Build and understand complex financial models.

  • Perform complex financial analysis with minimal oversight.

  • Create high-impact presentation materials using PowerPoint, Excel,Wordand other relevant software programs.

  • Complete research andmaintaininformation databases asrequired.

  • Work well as part of a team in a high stress environmentand under tight deadlines

  • Develop good working relationships with peers and seniorbankers in the Corporate & Investment Bankand the rest of the organization.

  • Manage priorities while working ona number ofhigh priority opportunities simultaneously.

  • Complete credit and corporate finance overview and analysis independently.

  • Serve as support to the Managing Directors and be capable of making internal andexternal presentationsto support the efforts of the Managing Directors on the team.

  • Interact with all important constituenciesin the course ofexecuting and closing loan transactions.

  • Ensure adherence to risk, compliance, confidentiality, and information barrier requirements across all workstreams.

  • Other Duties: Performing other duties as assigned, adapting to new tasks or shifts in priorities as necessary to support your team's and the company's mission.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, ora relatedfield.

  • 3-5 years of experience in Investment Banking M&A (strong Analyst performancerequiredfor internal promotion).

  • MBAtypicalbut notrequiredbased on prior experience.

  • Proventrack recordof contributing to the origination and closing of complex financial transactions as part of a team.

  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79, and Series 63 licenses (or ability to obtain within company policy).

  • Strongproficiencyin Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Qualified candidates will bring emerging professionalproficiency,generallyacquiredthrough1-3years of relevant work or internship experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
