Job description

Job Title: Senior Associate, FinanceDepartment: Finance & AdministrationReports to: Senior Director, FinanceEffective Date: June 2026Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)Travel: 10%
POSITION PURPOSE:
This is a full-time, exempt position at the Senior level, responsible for supporting the financial structuring and modeling of utility-scale energy storage projects. Core responsibilities include offtake pricing and valuation, scenario analysis, and financial due diligence in support of debt and tax equity financings. This role spans the full development and finance lifecycle and requires close collaboration with Commercial and Development teams, as well as senior leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and analysis of complex project finance models for energy storage projects.
  • Coordinate inputs from development, commercial, legal, and technical teams to support scenario and risk analysis.
  • Support debt sizing, tax equity structuring, and other financing analyses.
  • Deliver internal investment committee materials, management reports, and other strategic analyses to support investment decisions.
  • Prepare marketing materials for lenders and tax equity investors, including CIMs, teasers, and financial models.
  • Support financial close processes, including management of diligence requests, data rooms, third-party advisors, and transaction tracking items.
  • Assist in the review and analysis of project finance documents, including credit agreements, major project contracts, and tax equity partnership documents.
  • All other duties as required

WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • Years of experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in project finance, investment banking, or financial analysis.
  • Preferred experience in grid-scale batteries or renewable energy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
