Description:Indiana Farmers is currently looking for an experienced Casualty Claims Representative II, to join our team. The ideal candidate will preferably be located in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, or Michigan.
The right candidate will have experience handling auto and general liability claims, to include bodily injury and property damage exposures. This position will primarily handle losses over the phone but could include some field inspections in person or through referral to in-house field staff, independent adjusters, or experts. As a Casualty Claims Representative II with Indiana Farmers Insurance, you will support our vision by driving prompt and fair claims resolutions.

Requirements:

Responsibilities for the Casualty Claims Representative II:

  • College degree or related work experience
  • 3-5 years experience working with Auto and General Liability Casualty claims
  • Good negotiating skills
  • Medicare knowledge, preferred
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Casualty Home State licensing, preferred
