Job Description

About the Donor Program Development Associate role

The Donor Program Development Associate provides support to the Hospital Engagement and Strategy Department in developing and strengthening hospital-based donation programs. This role includes assisting with special projects and events, contributing to the design and development of educational materials, and collaborating closely with coordinators to enhance donation initiatives across the state.ย 

The Donor Program Development Associate is responsible for assigned hospitals, where they build, support, and sustain effective donation programs through strong partnerships and ongoing engagement.

This position works Monday through Friday

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:ย 

  • Provides administrative, coordination, and content support for Hospital Engagement & Strategy, including managing meetings and events, preparing reports and educational materials, and maintaining documentation and databases.
  • Partners with hospitals to improve donation outcomes by standardizing processes, providing education, resolving issues, ensuring regulatory compliance, analyzing performance, and fostering ongoing engagement and donation advocacy networks.
  • Collaborates with the Business Intelligence Department to assist with and facilitate quality assurance and audit programs.ย ย  ย 
  • Supports the Community Engagement & Communication and Donor Family Engagement departments by participating in public education and events as needed.
  • Exhibits good stewardship of DNA resources and coordinates with Hospital Engagement & Strategy leadership to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Completes administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner. ย 
  • Performs other duties and participates in special projects as requiredย 
Qualifications

Minimum Education:ย 

High School diplomaย  ย  ย 

Minimum Experience:

1 year of related experience

Preferred Education:ย 

Associate's or BAchelor's Degreeย

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Self-starter.

Effective skills demonstrated in educational and administrative contexts.
