Job Description:

The Program Finance Analyst position will be responsible for the financial management, review, billing and forecasting of assigned programs. They work closely with Program Finance team and Contract Managers to ensure accuracy of invoices. The Analyst will prepare quarterly, monthly, and weekly financial reports, both internal and external as required, validate Actual cost reporting, support monthly closing activities, and be responsible for project setup and maintenance with the financial systems. You must be deadline driven, able to work in a fast-paced environment, organized and detail oriented.

Essential Functions:

  • Review and prepare monthly project billings for government agencies to ensure customer invoices are accurate
  • Help identify, generate, and ensure the proper recording and documentation of any required correcting entries
  • Research and respond to customer questions including customer reconciliations
  • Review of detailed government contracts and billing instructions
  • Proactively work with Program Management and the project team to prepare monthly cash forecast collections and funds run out analysis
  • Creating and maintaining projects within Deltek Costpoint financial system, consistently in accordance with company procedure
  • Other special projects as directed by management such as reconciliations, cleanup of migrated or closed projects, etc.
  • US Citizenship required for ability to obtain Security Clearance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8years of prior related experience.
  • Must have minimum of 2years' experience in Earned Value Management (EIA-748 ANSI EV Guideline Reviews)
  • 4-6 years' experience in Microsoft Office applications including Excel (Pivot tables and VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint
  • Experience and demonstrated knowledge of Deltek COBRA, Costpoint and IMB Cognos Report

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Must be deadline driven, organized and detail oriented.
  • Experience in processing and validating project type (Time & Material (T&M), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), or Cost-plus (CP) invoices.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with cost-reimbursable contracts such as FPP, CPFF, and T&M. In addition, FFP contracts as well.
  • Knowledge of government contracts, funding profiles, sales outlook and variance analysis preferred

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State is $67K-124K. For California, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State and New York City, the salary range for this role is $76K-141K. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
