This position will work closely and partner with leaders across Riverside on a variety of legal support needs affecting the delivery of healthcare, in addition to providing general legal advice ranging from regulatory and compliance matters, litigation, risk management, labor and employment, contracts, and transactional matters. **What you will do** * Provide creative and practical legal advice and decision-making skills in compliance with applicable laws.* Collaborate with risk management and oversee litigation activities conducted by outside counsel, including developing strategy for complex cases.* Support human resources related to federal and state employment law, internal investigations, and policies.* Coordinate and draft responses to administrative regulatory requests, to include the EEOC and Virginia Department of Health.* Responsible for initiating, reviewing, interpreting, and negotiating various contracts, while focusing on efficiency, accuracy and satisfying deadlines.* Educate stakeholders on relevant legal issues, including patient care and hospital and provider legal matters. **Qualifications** **Education** * Doctoral Degree, (Juris Doctor) from accredited law school (Required) **Experience** * 2 years Practicing attorney experience.
