  • Manage corporate governance responsibilities including state filings, entity records, resolutions, and limited securities compliance.
  • Coordinate and administer intellectual property portfolio, office leases, annual insurance renewals, and limited litigation and OIG matters, engaging outside counsel as appropriate.
  • Utilize approved AI and legal technology tools to enhance efficiency while maintaining confidentiality, data security, and professional standards.
  • Identify and implement ongoing improvements to Legal Department processes, contracting workflows, and corporate governance practices.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance — beneficial but not required.
  • 8–10 years of experience encompassing contract, employment, intellectual property, and transactional law.
  • Prior in-house counsel and/or private practice experience are beneficial but not required.
  • Healthcare industry experience beneficial but not required.
  • Experience with acquisitions and corporate governance is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal technology tools, including AI-assisted platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex legal issues for non-legal audiences.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and interpersonal effectiveness under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and commitment to continuous learning and process improvement.
