Job Overview

Hyatt House Boulder/Broomfield is a 123-room property seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead hotel operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, supporting team development, driving revenue performance, and maintaining Hyatt brand standards.
You will serve as the liaison with Hyatt brand representatives and ownership, coordinating brand training with your staff and ensuring the property remains aligned with Hyatt standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on hospitality leader with a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating a positive culture for both guests and associates.

Duties

  • Oversee all hotel departments, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, sales, and maintenance.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and ensure service standards are consistently met.
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, payroll, labor, and profitability.
  • Drive revenue growth through sales initiatives, community relationships, and market awareness.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with Hyatt brand representatives and ownership.
  • Coordinate brand training and implementation with your team.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally

Qualifications

  • Prior hotel General Manager experience required.
  • Strong sales background with a proven ability to drive revenue and build business relationships.
  • Experience in extended-stay or select-service hospitality preferred.
  • Renovations experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage financial performance and operational goals.
