Procore

Austin, TX • On-site

Full-time

Posted 6 days ago

Job description

Procore is seeking a Associate Product Manager 2 to join our Building Information Modeling (BIM) team and lead the development of our next-generation BIM Viewer Platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to simplify the complexities of BIM while building one of the foundational technologies powering Procore's construction platform. The BIM Viewer is more than a customer-facing product, it is a shared platform leveraged across multiple Procore applications to deliver rich 3D experiences throughout the project lifecycle.
You'll help shape both the end-user experience and the platform capabilities that enable other product teams to build faster, more consistently, and with higher quality. Success in this role requires balancing the needs of external customers with those of internal product teams, ensuring the platform evolves in a way that maximizes value across Procore's ecosystem.
You'll drive product direction through market research, customer discovery, competitive analysis, and close partnership with engineering and design. Leveraging modern AI-assisted product development workflows, you'll accelerate customer discovery, product definition, and execution while maintaining strong product fundamentals and a relentless focus on customer outcomes.
As a Product Manager, you'll partner closely with the Director of Product to align strategy, initiatives, and execution across multiple dependent teams. Success requires exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to influence without authority across a complex product organization.
This position reports to the Director of Product and will be based in our Austin, TX office. We're looking for someone excited to help shape the future of spatial computing and BIM across Procore's platform.
What you'll do:
  • Define and execute the roadmap for Procore's next-generation BIM Viewer Platform.
  • Balance the needs of customer-facing experiences with those of internal platform consumers across multiple Procore applications.
  • Partner closely with engineering, UX, and dependent product teams to define shared capabilities, APIs, SDKs, and platform investments that maximize reuse and accelerate development.
  • Conduct continuous customer discovery with owners, contractors, designers, and internal product teams to deeply understand workflows, pain points, and platform requirements.
  • Develop expertise in BIM, 3D visualization, rendering technologies, and modern graphics platforms to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Use qualitative insights, quantitative analysis, and customer feedback to prioritize roadmap investments and communicate product tradeoffs.
  • Leverage AI throughout the product development lifecycle, including customer research, requirements definition, documentation, prototyping, and release planning, to improve team velocity while maintaining rigorous product thinking.
  • Influence engineering teams, UX, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment across multiple roadmaps and initiatives.
  • Clearly communicate strategy, priorities, and execution plans across technical and business audiences.

What we're looking for:
  • 3+ years of Product Management experience building enterprise SaaS products.
  • Experience working on platform products, shared services, APIs, SDKs, or developer platforms is highly desirable.
  • Experience with 3D visualization, BIM, CAD, GIS, gaming engines, rendering technologies, digital twins, or related technical domains is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex initiatives involving multiple engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong customer discovery skills with experience synthesizing feedback from both external customers and internal product teams.
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered tools throughout the software development lifecycle to improve product discovery, planning, communication, and execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to break down complex platform investments into incremental, customer-focused releases.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with a proven ability to drive predictable execution across multiple dependent teams.
  • Passion for solving complex technical problems while delivering intuitive customer experiences.
