CONSUMER FINANCIAL SERVICES CAREER ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

A premier AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a talented Career Associate Attorney to join their esteemed Consumer Financial Services Practice Group. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a high-performing litigation team representing leading financial institutions and service providers in complex business and commercial disputes.


Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing
  • 2+ years of substantive litigation experience
  • Experience with commercial litigation and the representation of financial institutions is strongly preferred
  • Background defending matters under the FCRA, FDCPA, and/or TCPA is highly advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage cases, lead projects, and supervise junior team members
  • Strong writing ability, analytical skills, and professional judgment
  • Excellent research, communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities
  • The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, nationally integrated practice

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently handle a broad range of consumer financial services litigation, including commercial disputes and matters involving federal and state consumer protection laws

  • Participate in hearings, depositions, motions practice, and other proceedings across state and federal courts

  • Provide legal advice and regulatory guidance, communicate case strategy and developments, and support clients responding to government and agency investigations

  • Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and related litigation documents

  • Work closely with senior attorneys and partners on high-impact matters within a collaborative, nationally coordinated team
