Mission

Hello, I'm Sihem, Recruitment and Business Development Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in accounting, finance and payroll. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area.
I'm looking for a Tax Manager for my client, an accounting firm located on Montreal's South Shore. This is a permanent position at 37.5. The firm offers great flexibility on hours and telecommuting, as well as numerous benefits.
Duties include:
- Supervise, train and mobilize the tax team under your responsibility;
- Actively participate in mandate planning and make recommendations on staffing needs;
- Offer clients value-added solutions tailored to their strategic objectives and organizational context;
- Participate in the presentation of work results and ensure that they meet customer expectations and needs;
- Act as designated quality controller for certain projects;
- In collaboration with the associate, establish budgets and prepare service offers;
- Analyze work in progress and participate in customer billing;
- Identify internal training needs and participate in the development and dissemination of content;
- Participate in team member performance appraisals based on the firm's competency grids.

Your profile

- Minimum 8 years' experience in taxation, including at least 3 years as a Tax Manager;
- Master's degree in taxation (required)
- Strong team management skills;
- Strong oral and written communication skills in French;
- Knowledge of Taxprep software (an asset);
- CPA professional designation (an asset)
