Job description

GLG's FP&A team is looking for an associate to join the team.  You will collaborate with departments across the business to develop insights that drive business actions.  Your analysis will directly influence our decision making and support the business. We are looking for an analytical and strategic thinker that thrives in a fast pace, dynamic environment and defaults to action. You'll play an integral role in analyzing financial results, building and maintaining various models and developing and tracking various KPIs.   

What You'll Do 

  • Develop financial models incorporating operational and financial data to support decision making, ensuring alignment across various datasets and stakeholders 
  • Support financial planning process, including annual budgets and forecasts, while ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial reporting 
  • Analize and review performance trends, summarizing key financials metrics 
  • Streamline reporting 
  • Prepare presentation materials for senior leadership and the board of directors 
  • Partner with various departments across the company as a dedicated finance business partner 

What We're Looking For 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business; advanced degree a plus 
  • 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, investment banking, consulting, or a similar analytical role 
  • Ability to work with large datasets and generate key insights supported by data 
  • Attention to detail and high standard of data accuracy 
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to take on increasing responsibility over time 
  • Strong communicator who can present complex information clearly 
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with financial planning tools is a plusÂ
