What are Associate ERP Administrators?

Associate ERP Administrators are entry-level professionals responsible for supporting the daily operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems used by organizations. They assist in user account management, data integrity, system updates, and resolving technical issues under the supervision of senior administrators. Their role also often involves providing end-user support and training, as well as helping to implement new features or modules within the ERP system.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Associate ERP Administrator, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Associate ERP Administrator, you need foundational knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, database management, and basic IT troubleshooting, often supported by a degree in information technology or a related field. Familiarity with ERP platforms like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, and understanding of SQL or similar database languages, are typically required; certifications in these systems can be advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication help you support users and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Candidates must reside in the Tampa Bay area and be able to work onsite at our Tampa corporate headquarters.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Ensure accurate master data management for customers, vendors, inventory, and financial records.
• Support ongoing system enhancements and optimization initiatives.

Business Process Improvement

• Analyze business processes and recommend system improvements.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and improve efficiency.
• Partner with department leaders to develop scalable workflows.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of NetSuite administration, implementation, or ERP systems experience.
• Proven experience supporting or leading a NetSuite implementation.
• Experience training employees and developing user documentation.
• Strong understanding of business operations, accounting, inventory, purchasing, and ERP workflows.
• Experience managing system data, user security, and reporting.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into practical business solutions.
• Must reside within commuting distance of Tampa, Florida.

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing, steel, construction, distribution, or industrial industry experience.
• NetSuite Administrator Certification.
• Experience with ERP integrations.
• Experience supporting multi-location operations.
• Experience building employee training programs and learning content.
