  • Address performance issues early and constructively.
  • Escalate risks and communicate tradeoffs clearly to leadership.
  • Contribute to organizational process improvements and engineering culture initiatives.

  • Experience leading teams of at least 4 engineers.
  • Strong track record of delivering complex software projects on schedule.
  • Solid system design fundamentals and architectural judgment.
  • Experience partnering with Product and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and grow engineers across multiple levels.
  • Ability to balance delivery pressure with long-term technical health.
  • Experience navigating ambiguity and setting clear direction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to manage conflict constructively.
Success Metrics
  • The team consistently delivers roadmap commitments with predictable velocity.
  • Engineering quality and reliability remain high under delivery pressure.

  • Experience scaling engineering teams in high-growth environments.
  • Experience managing distributed or remote-first teams.
  • Strong background in distributed systems or event-driven architecture.
