Title: Senior Associate Engineer (KAFKA)
Location: Bethesda, MD
Position: Contract
Rate: Open


Description:-
SPARK (or any other stream processing framework like Flume but SPARK & SPARK Streaming preferred)
Elastic Search (any other search engine will work too like Solr and Lucidworks but ElasticSearch is highly preferred over others)
KAFKA (or other evening / messaging systems like Rabbit MQ etc. but KAFKA will be highly preferred)
No SQL database (Couchbase, Mongo etc. but Couchbase highly preferred over others).
Akka based micro services implementation
Experience with architecture and developing enterprise applications that deal with data processing; no front-end implementation experience desired.
Applicant should be able to set up the tech stack locally, think through the solution options specifically from a faster data processing standpoint, and guide a set of developers on low level design.
Applicant should be able to work with disparate enterprise teams to gauge requirements and convert them into scalable application design.
Working with the offshore team creating design elements, guiding them on the application design based on requirements, and reviewing their deliverables.
Experience with other big data technologies is not needed but a data processing mindset is mandatory. This is not a web application developer role.
