We will count on you to:
  • Build and maintain Python data pipelines that ingest, normalize, and transform AWS CUR, Azure Billing Exports, and OCI billing data into unified cost datasets.
  • Develop and support REST API endpoints and integrations between cloud billing systems, Databricks, and downstream dashboards/reporting tools for self-serve cost analysis and automated reporting.
  • Partner with FinOps analysts and the data analytics team to translate cost visibility requirements into reliable engineering solutions.
  • Contribute to anomaly detection and cost optimization workflows, including alerts, recommendations, and notifications through email, Microsoft Teams, and ticketing platforms.
  • Maintain materialized views, support query optimization and data freshness monitoring, help develop LLM-based natural language query features with proper guardrails/audit logging, and keep technical documentation, runbooks, and support procedures current.

What you need to have:
  • 2+ years of professional experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, or a related technical role.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure billing data (CUR, Azure Billing Exports, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in Python, including building production-grade APIs, data pipelines, and integrations with cloud provider APIs.
  • Familiarity with data platforms such as Databricks or similar; experience writing and optimizing SQL queries against large datasets.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (GitHub), and software development best practices (code review, testing, documentation).

What makes you stand out:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • FinOps Certified Practitioner (FCP) - FinOps Foundation, or equivalent hands-on FinOps experience.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud billing data (AWS CUR, Azure Billing Exports, OCI Billing Data and or FOCUS) and exposure to FinOps concepts
  • Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) into production systems, including guardrail design and safety controls.
  • Exposure to ServiceNow workflow automation or Microsoft Teams bot/webhook integrations.

Why join our team:
  • We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.
  • We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have an impact on colleagues, clients and communities.
