Position Overview

Flynn Hospitality is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Dual General Manager to provide overall leadership for the Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites in Montgomery, Alabama.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an accomplished hotel operator who is ready to take on the complexity and responsibility of overseeing two Hilton-branded properties. The Dual General Manager will have full responsibility for hotel operations, financial performance, associate engagement, guest satisfaction, brand compliance, and execution of Flynn Hospitality's operating standards across both hotels.

The successful candidate will be a visible, hands-on leader who can effectively balance the needs of two distinct properties while developing strong leadership teams capable of executing day-to-day operations.

This position is based in Montgomery, Alabama. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for both hotels, establishing clear priorities, performance expectations, and accountability.

  • Lead, coach, and develop hotel leadership teams to ensure strong execution and a consistent culture across both properties.

  • Build a positive, performance-driven workplace focused on associate engagement, retention, development, and internal growth.

  • Maintain a visible leadership presence throughout both hotels and develop strong relationships with associates at all levels.

  • Partner with Flynn Hospitality's Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Revenue Management, and Sales teams to support property performance and organizational initiatives.

  • Identify and develop high-potential leaders and create appropriate succession plans for key positions.

Financial & Operational Performance
  • Assume full responsibility for the financial and operational performance of both properties.

  • Develop and execute annual operating budgets, forecasts, and business plans.

  • Review financial performance regularly and implement action plans to address revenue opportunities, expense variances, labor productivity, and profitability.

  • Drive disciplined labor management and cost controls while maintaining appropriate service levels and brand standards.

  • Monitor key performance indicators including revenue, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, profitability, guest satisfaction, labor productivity, and associate turnover.

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and leverage shared resources across the two properties where appropriate.

Guest Experience & Brand Standards
  • Ensure both hotels consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences and meet or exceed Hilton and Flynn Hospitality standards.

  • Monitor guest satisfaction results, online reviews, brand scores, and service trends and implement corrective action when necessary.

  • Maintain strong relationships with Hilton brand representatives and ensure compliance with brand standards, audits, required training, and quality assurance expectations.

  • Ensure guest concerns are resolved promptly, professionally, and with appropriate follow-through.

  • Establish a culture in which every associate understands their role in creating an exceptional guest experience.

Revenue, Sales & Market Leadership
  • Partner closely with Sales and Revenue Management to maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, market share, and total hotel revenue.

  • Understand local market conditions, competitive positioning, demand generators, and emerging business opportunities.

  • Participate in revenue strategy discussions and ensure operational execution supports established sales and revenue goals.

  • Build relationships within the Montgomery business community and represent the hotels professionally with clients, community partners, and industry organizations.

Property & Risk Management
  • Ensure both properties are maintained to high standards of cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality.

  • Partner with Engineering and corporate leadership to identify capital needs and prioritize property improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations as well as company policies and Hilton requirements.

  • Maintain effective safety, security, emergency preparedness, and loss-prevention programs.

  • Ensure appropriate controls are maintained for cash handling, purchasing, payroll, inventory, and other hotel assets.

Professional Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive hotel leadership experience, including experience as a General Manager or senior hotel operations leader.

  • Previous multi-property, dual-property, complex, or area leadership experience strongly preferred.

  • Hilton brand experience strongly preferred; experience with Hilton Garden Inn and/or Homewood Suites is a plus.

  • Demonstrated experience managing hotel P&L, budgeting, forecasting, labor, and financial performance.

  • Strong understanding of hotel sales, revenue management, guest satisfaction, and brand performance metrics.

  • Proven ability to recruit, develop, motivate, and retain high-performing leadership teams.

  • Experience successfully managing competing priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent hospitality leadership experience will be considered.
