Position Summary:We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Employee to support daily operations in our yard and warehouse. This role involves receiving and stocking materials, operating forklifts, loading delivery trucks, and assisting both customers and drivers. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Receive and stock incoming commodity merchandise.Manually gather materials for delivery orders with attention to accuracy.Verify product quantities and load delivery trucks accurately and efficiently.Assist customers with materials during pickups and drop-offs at the yard.Safely operate forklifts and hand power tools.Unload vendor trucks and check in products.Assist with routine inventory cycle counts.Occasionally accompany drivers and assist with deliveries.Perform basic maintenance of trucks, buildings, and grounds.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard and warehouse.Perform other related tasks as assigned.Important Skills and Competencies:Strong organizational skills.Ability to read measurements and effectively use a tape measure.Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Education, Experience, and Training:High school diploma or GED required.Experience with equipment operation such as power tools and forklifts preferred.Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to become certified).Physical Requirements:Frequent standing, walking, and occasional stair climbing.Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and twisting.Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.Work is performed indoors and outdoors with exposure to varying climate conditions.Why Work With Us?We're a great company to work for, offering a supportive team environment and opportunities to grow.
