Position: Industrial Controls Technician Salary Grade: 3
Primary Purpose:
Responsibilities:
- Install, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems to control and monitor industrial machinery and equipment
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on industrial control systems to ensure optimal functionality
- Diagnose and resolve issues in PLCs, sensors, motors, drives, and other electrical components
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to design and implement control systems for new projects
- Conduct thorough testing of control systems to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately for future reference
