Job Summary:

The Electrical Engineering Associate supports the Customer Order Engineering Group by developing, reviewing, and maintaining electrical design documentation for customerspecific orders. The role focuses on producing accurate electrical schematics, performing drawing reviews, creating Bills of Material (BOMs), and assisting production teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts based on Customer Order Documents.
  • Perform critical drawing reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper revision control.
  • Build and maintain Bill of Material (BOM) using ERP software, ensuring correct part data and routing.
  • Support production by solving minor design problems, issuing and resolving ECR (change requests), and communicating issues and solutions to other departments
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, procurement, and quality teams to maintain design integrity.

Position Requirements (knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform satisfactorily in the position):

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
  • Proficiency in electrical schematic and wiring diagram creation using CAD tools (AutoCAD Electrical or similar).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and BOM management.
  • Solid understanding of electrical components, circuits, and control systems.
  • Ability to manage high order volume with accuracy and urgency.
