Your Role:
• Performing electrical power design for variety of projects to include but not limited to: buildings and facilities, including hospitals, laboratories, high rise residential, hotel and office, and other commercial and institutional projects.
• Incorporating design changes using AutoCAD and Revit software
• Performing service load calculations and short circuit studies
• Meeting project schedules and performing work with budgetary constraints
• Attend meetings with architects, owners and building managers to discuss future or current projects
• Reviewing submittals and providing responses to Requests for Information
• Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the design of building power systems for high rise residential, hotel and office buildings, and other commercial, institutional and healthcare facilities.
• Proficient with the use of AutoCAD and Revit software.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Excellent technical skills, strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Comprehensive knowledge and interpretation of code compliance requirements and industry standards
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and in a highly collaborative team environment
• PE registration is highly preferred, or EIT with the ability to obtain a P.E. in Illinois
