Job description

  • Position Summary
    • The Systems Analyst in Human Resources collects, manages, and interprets workforce data to help the organization make data-driven decisions.  The Systems Analyst will transform complex personnel metrics into actionable insights regarding recruitment, retention, compensation, and performance.  This position requires strong analytical skills in gathering information from users, developing and compiling reports, and defining actual or potential problems and trends. The Systems Analyst serves as a resource person for the technical operational issues in Human Resources.

    • 3-5 Years Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SQL and Crystal - Required
    • Specialized training or education in Personal Computer, Word, Excel, Power Point. Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written presentation. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a complex team environment collaborating with external and internal professionals. Strong working knowledge of HIPAA, employee data privacy laws, and the intersection of HR benefits with Protected Health Information (PHI).  In lieu of a degree, some college or technical training and equivalent work experience in computer information systems or related healthcare computer systems will be considered.

Core Job Functions
  1. Cleans, consolidates, and maintains HR databases.  Provides administrator support for HRIS, Learning Management, Performance Management, and Automated Forms.  Software problems are reported to Information Services if unable to resolve.  Training staff on HR databases is identified and applicable materials are developed and revised ongoing. 
  2. Designs, develops, and automates reports and data visualizations by established deadlines.  Statistics are aggregated and monitored.
  3. Analyzes trends in personnel metrics; examples include employee turnover, performance, and engagement to forecast staffing needs and support HR strategies.
  4. Assists in the evaluation of salary structures and compensation guidelines to ensure internal equity, market competitiveness, and legal compliance.  Completes compensation surveys.
  5. Assists in drafting, administering, and analyzing employee engagement and/or exit interview surveys to identify areas for organizational improvement.
  6. Maintains strict confidentiality, ensures secure data handling, and follows regulatory protocols.
