Growth Marketing & Content Manager
Reports to: Chief Development Officer   
Status: Exempt
Location: Charleston, SC
Work Environment: Hybrid Schedule in Charleston, SC 

Apollon is building a direct-to-consumer marketing capability to reach affluent and high-net-worth audiences, and we are looking for an experienced marketer to help shape it.
This is an opportunity for a builder. This individual-contributor role with ownership of campaigns, content, marketing platforms, agency relationships, marketing investments, and results. You will help develop our paid lead-generation strategy, create the campaigns and content that bring it to life, and establish how performance is measured and improved. With direct access to senior leadership and meaningful ownership from strategy through execution, your fingerprints will be all over what we build.
The ideal candidate combines exceptional writing with hands-on experience in paid media, lead generation, campaign development, and analytics. You understand how to engage discerning audiences and translate complex financial concepts into clear, compelling, and credible content.
This is a senior individual-contributor role with ownership of campaigns, content, agency relationships, marketing investments, and results.

Responsibilities:

Paid Growth
  • Build and manage paid lead-generation campaigns for affluent and high-net-worth audiences.
  • Oversee audience strategy, creative, landing pages, lead capture, nurture journeys, budgets, and optimization.
  • Establish processes to route, track, nurture, and report on marketing-generated opportunities.
  • Test and refine campaigns based on lead quality, conversion, acquisition cost, and return on investment.

  • Create sophisticated copy for paid campaigns, websites, emails, presentations, thought leadership, and client materials.
  • Translate complex wealth management and financial planning concepts into clear, differentiated messaging.
  • Tailor content for private wealth and higher-end mass affluent audiences while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and compliance to produce content that is compelling, credible, and appropriate for a regulated environment.
Campaign Execution
  • Manage integrated campaigns across paid media, email, websites, CRM, events, and other relevant channels.
  • Oversee email campaigns, marketing automation, audience segmentation, and website conversion pathways.
  • Manage agencies, designers, writers, web developers, and other external partners.
  • Partner with the Marketing Associate, who leads organic social media, to coordinate content across channels.
  • Move initiatives efficiently from concept through compliance review, launch, measurement, and optimization.
Marketing Platforms and Operations
  • Own the day-to-day operation, governance, optimization, and roadmap for HubSpot, Amplify, and other platforms supporting marketing and lead generation.
  • Manage platform configuration, workflows, integrations, permissions, data quality, documentation, and user adoption.
  • Partner with Development, Technology, and other stakeholders to ensure leads and campaign data flow accurately across systems.
  • Evaluate and implement platform enhancements that improve campaign execution, lead management, reporting, and marketing efficiency.
Analytics and Improvement
  • Track lead quality, conversion, acquisition costs, engagement, and campaign return.
  • Provide leadership with clear reporting, insights, and recommendations.
  • Use performance data to improve campaigns, content, audience strategy, and budget allocation.

Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism, or a related field.
  • Approximately 5–10 years of relevant marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing paid digital campaigns and lead-generation programs.
  • Hands-on experience operating and optimizing HubSpot, Salesforce, Account Engagement, Amplify, or comparable CRM and marketing platforms.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills for sophisticated audiences.
  • Experience marketing to high-net-worth, private wealth, luxury, or other high-consideration audiences strongly preferred.
  • Financial services, wealth management, or regulated-industry experience preferred.
  • Experience managing agencies, campaign budgets, and concurrent projects.
  • Working knowledge of CRM, marketing automation, email marketing, CMS, digital advertising, landing pages, and analytics platforms.
  • A builder’s mindset with the ability to move comfortably between strategy and hands-on execution.
