Job Description:

POSITION TYPE:Full-time, 100% remote. Candidates must have reliable internet access and a suitable remote work environment

SCOPE: This position is required for routine regional registry operations and supported by contract funding from the Louisiana Tumor Registry (LTR). This person carries the Oncology Data Specialist certification (ODS-C) and has experience with cancer registration and is expected to participate in advanced registry activities, including case editing and consolidation. Will independently perform abstracting for all cancer types.

2. Case Editing and Consolidation
3. Education/Quality Control

4. Productivity

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate's degree in an allied health fieldor post-secondary coursework in human anatomy & physiology required; Bachelor's degree preferred

3 or more years of experience as an Oncology Data Specialistrequired.

Active ODS-C (Oncology Data Specialist-C) Certification through the NCRA required.

Experience with Central/ Regional Tumor Registry operations a plus.
