Lab Technician I

As a Lab Technician I, you will be responsible for performing laboratory testing and analysis to ensure product quality and process performance across our chemical manufacturing operations. Working closely with production, quality, and technical teams, you will generate accurate data, maintain laboratory equipment, and support continuous improvement initiatives. As a Lab Technician I, you will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing production materials and interpreting data to ensure quality standards are met.

  • Maintaining and operating laboratory equipment while ensuring accurate laboratory records.

  • Reporting test data and maintaining required documentation.

  • Providing technical support to production staff to support operational excellence.

  • Supporting special projects as assigned.

  • Reviewing processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have Bachelors of Science in STEM or Associates of Science in STEM with 2 years of experience or High School Diploma with 4 years of experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Have minimum 2 years previous chemical manufacturing laboratory experience

  • Have LIMS experience

  • Have SAP experience

  • Have experience with Auto Titrators, FTIR and relevant software (OMNIS, Tiamo, OMNIC)

  • Have wet Chemistry experience

Schedule:

The DuPont shift schedule is a continuous 28-day rotating pattern that uses four crews to provide 24/7 coverage. Employees work 12-hour shifts, alternating between day and night shifts, averaging 42 hours per week. A key feature of this schedule is a full 7-day consecutive break every four weeks.
