Position Purpose
The SCO Strategic Sourcing Manager III works with Supply Chain Operations' Contracts, Field Operations, and Systems to identify new projects, coordinate project planning, ensure documentation is complete and stored appropriately, and progress project implementation forward to meet timelines and budgets. This role is a liaison with key clinical and operational leadership boards to support sourcing needs and provide updates on initiatives. Supports associate director with area administration and leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
  • Manages a committee, administration duties, and supports the strategic objectives of the Associate Director
  • Represent SCO on leadership boards and committees
  • Identify, vet, evaluate, and implement supply, service, and equipment initiatives including standardization, conversion and education rollout
  • Serves as a liaison between the leadership committees and SCO to ensure supply chain is supporting their initiatives and that supply chain is communicating applicable updates to leadership
  • Ensures documentation is complete and stored appropriately
  • Tracks project implementations to meet timelines and budgets
  • Obtains and assimilates information from hospitals and vendors
  • Perform data analytics
  • Create reports to present project status and recommendations
  • Responsible for financial analysis for opportunities
  • Utilization reporting and adoption tracking
  • Coordinates project planning
  • Provide load information for procurement platform changes based on project
  • This position must sit at our Home Office in Birmingham, AL

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, or Healthcare Administration required.
  • 2-3 years of healthcare and/or Project Management experience required
