The Design Oasis is hiring a Director of Operations to lead our AV warehouse and drive performance across inventory, logistics, and production support.

We are looking for a decisive, high-impact leader who can step in, take control, and build structure that drives discipline, accountability, and results. This role demands uncompromising standards, strong operational oversight, and the ability to lead teams with authority and clarity.


ROLE OVERVIEW

The Director of Operations oversees the full lifecycle of specialized AV equipment — ensuring strict inventory control, disciplined logistics, and consistent, on-time, high-quality event fulfillment.

This position holds full responsibility for warehouse operations, operational efficiency, team performance, and execution across departments.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee inventory tracking, staging, QC, maintenance, and return of AV equipment
  • Lead strategic planning and SOP development to improve warehouse efficiency
  • Manage Warehouse Managers, Prep Leads, QC, and Truck Maintenance teams
  • Direct logistics including packing, shipping, and receiving
  • Support critical decisions during peak live production cycles
  • Transition and scale a growing secondary warehouse
  • Review KPIs and enforce performance standards
  • Lead the team with authority, accountability, and execution


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Deep familiarity with the AV, live production, or rental industry
